Legal Issues

Kodak is as famous for his legal issues as he is for his singles. You cannot talk about Kodak without mentioning his dark side. He has at least 11 court cases and got incarcerated multiple times. Some of the charges against him include sexual assault, possession of marijuana, armed robbery, assault, and more.

With a record like that, some might say that he didn’t get his financial wealthy legally. But that is not true. Kodak turns his legal issues into poetic lyrics. With a style rough around the edges, Black cuts to the heart of what he wants to say. Such lyrics brought him fame and fortune.

As for his legal issues, he got placed into a youth detention center three times in one year. And then, he got placed on probation.

In January 2018, he got arrested inside of his Pembroke Pines, Florida home. Most of the charges stemmed from an Instagram live-feed video showing him passing marijuana and gun around a small child. He aced seven felony charges including child neglect.

That is because of his legal issues. The question is will he rise, or fall to the depths of doing time?
