Brazil’s New President Is A Trump Fanboy

Donald Trump is neck deep in the Washington swamp and he needs a little love. The only love around him right now is that fake political love that feeds on power and negativity. Trump still has his family by his side. And most of the Republicans still throw him a kiss or two when he’s not tweeting some off-color comments about American heroes like John McCain. But for the most part, Mr. Trump is on an island immune to common sense and political correctness.

But Mr. Trump found a friend this week when Jair Bolsonaro, Brazil’s new president came to Washington. Jair was there to stroke Trump’s ego. Mr. Bolsonaro won the title “the Tropical Trump” on the campaign trail. He shares the same political views as Mr. Trump. And he wants Trump and Brazil to form a bond that could change the course of history in both countries.

Brazil was never a big fan of the United States. The country’s leaders were too busy lining their pockets while average Brazilians were hungry and jobless. Bolsonaro promised to stop the crime in the Brazilian cities and end government corruption. Jair also promised Brazilian he would bring Brazil closer to the United States in terms of trade and economic policies.

The people elected Bolsonaro, a former military man because they thought he would finally bring Brazil out of the economic shadows. They thought Jair U.S. visit might help the country flaunt more than the beaches in Rio and the women who visit them.

Mr. Trump’s ego got a boost from Bolsonaro’s visit. Trump told the press it was nice to have someone like him the way Jair likes him. The president even said Bolsonaro’s campaign was a lot like his campaign. Trump acted warm, and he thanked Jair for his adoration. Mr. Bolsonaro started using terms like “Fake News” and other Trumpian statements and that really gave Trump a boner.

Bolsonaro was in Washington to expand its economic relationship with the U.S. and to firm up a deal that would allow the U.S. to use a rocket launch platform in Brazil. But Jair’s trip is also about showing Trump how much he agrees with Trump’s anti-immigration policy and his homophobic and xenophobic platform. Bolsonaro is a Trump lover and that could mean Trump could be in next year’s Carnival celebration. According to Trump’s critics. The president might be in Rio with a couple of those big-busted and big ass beauties that Trump likes to talk about.
