<p><strong>Gabriel Tokkie du Preez</strong> is the adopted son of the music duo <em>Die Antwoord</em>. In April 2022, Tokkie Jones went out and in an exclusive interview talked about the challenges of being a<strong> child slave</strong> of the duo compromised of <strong>Yolandi Visser</strong> and <strong>Ninja.</strong></p>
<p>All of the child abuse happened when he was only<strong> 9 years old</strong>. Now at the<strong> age of 20,</strong> he wanted to share everything with the media and hope things like that do not happen to other children.</p>
<p>Die Antwoord fans were shocked by the story and everything that happened to the young kid.</p>
<h2>How Things Started</h2>
<p>Everything started when Tokkie Jones became acquainted with<strong> Ben Crossman</strong>, who photographed his family while they were living in<strong> Verdedorp, Johannesburg.</strong></p>
<p>When <em>Die Antwoord</em> saw the photos, they wanted to involve the young boy in their music and music videos. As you can imagine, that was a promising idea for a child growing up in underprivileged circumstances.</p>
<p>Gabriel du Preez also had a brother. But he was chosen over him. He says that it was because of his unique looks. Tokkie suffers from <strong>hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia,</strong> which gives him an appearance that the music duo wanted to exploit as part of their image.</p>
<p><a href="https://gazetteday.com/yolandi-visser/"><strong>Anri du Toit (Yolandi Visser)</strong></a> and<a href="https://gazetteday.com/watkin-tudor-jones/"><strong> Watkin Tudor Jones (Ninja)</strong></a> became his adoptive parents. According to the interview, they lured him into a life primed with amazing experiences for a child. In fact, <strong>Tokkie&#8217;s biological mother</strong> encouraged him to let the musicians take care of him in pursuit of a better life.</p>
<p>The first experience that messed with his mind was when <strong>he stabbed his brother.</strong> The duo encouraged him to stand up and do whatever he wants because he was made to believe he was the devil.</p>
<p><em>Die Antwoord</em> praised him for the stabbing, and then based a music video on the traumatic event.</p>
<h2>How Things Escalated</h2>
<p>But that was just the beginning. Tokkie was further made to believe that he could burn people in hell. He was told to do demonic threats on phone calls.</p>
<p>In the interview, the young boy who is now 20 years of age, also explained the<strong> ritualistic events.</strong> Both he and his sister Meise were taken to hospitals where blood was drawn from them. In one ritual, he had an <strong>upside-down cross drawn on his forehead.</strong></p>
<p>For some of these ritual happenings, both he and his sister were encouraged to <strong>wear only underwear.</strong> Meisie was nudged to change in front of Ninja multiple times. Tokkie also said in the interview there were often sex toys around. At one point, he also noted that Yolandi&#8217;s naked body was not an uncommon sight.</p>
<p>During his time with the adoptive family, Tokkie was groomed to be around <strong>gangsters</strong> and attended a <strong>weapon training camp.</strong> This camp had all types of weapons, as he says, all the guns you can get. And he shot every one of them.</p>
<p>In attendance, people included him and his brother, as well as some <strong>Cape Town gangsters</strong>. He formed a close friendship with one of the gang leaders, which was definitely not an ideal relationship for a kid.</p>
<p>Speaking about <strong>drug abuse,</strong> he explains he was given weed and mushrooms but was constantly surrounded by people using other drugs.</p>
<p><strong>Ben Jay Crossman,</strong> who was the middleman between Tokkie and <em>Die Antwoord,</em> expressed regret for not speaking out earlier. He reportedly knew some things, and deposed a sworn affidavit, and is willing to <strong>testify against Ninja and Yolandi.</strong> He blames getting caught up in the light and hype as what blinded him toward what was going on.</p>
<p>Tokkie is now worried about<strong> his sister</strong>, who despite<strong> living full-time with another family</strong>, is at risk of being groomed the same way. She is still under the adoptive right of the music duo.</p>
<p>He is not a hater of <em>Die Antwoord</em>, whom he says he hasn&#8217;t seen for two years. He says<em>, &#8220;I used to be their kid, but that all changed because of what they did&#8221;.</em></p>
<p>His biggest fear and darkest moments of his childhood include the fear of being killed by his adoptive parents.</p>
<p>And at the end of the interview, he asks a simple question, <em>&#8220;If I never met Die Antwoord, how would my life actually have been like&#8221;?</em></p>

<h2>Die Antwoord Band</h2>
<p>The music group comprises rappers <strong>Watkin Tudor Ninja Jones</strong> and<strong> Anri Yolandi Visser du Toit.</strong> It is a male and female duo. Their image revolves around the <strong>South African counterculture movement</strong> known as <strong>zef.</strong></p>
<p>They have enjoyed mainstream success worldwide, with their albums and singles charting in the top <strong>50 countries in Europe and North America.</strong></p>
<p>Their music has also been featured in best-selling video games in the <em>Far Cry</em> franchise.</p>
<p>Journalists and critics in the US, frequently ask whether their creative output is a joke or hoax. But when asked if he was playing a character, Ninja said,<em> &#8220;Ninja is, how can I say, like Superman is to Clark Kent. The only difference is I don&#8217;t take off this fokken Superman suit&#8221;.</em></p>
<p>They are known for their<strong> cult following</strong>, namely the unusually prolific creation of fan art by their fans and followers.</p>
<p>Their musical and visual style <strong>incorporates elements of a zef culture.</strong> Zef is described as modern and trashy, appropriating out-of-date, discarded cultural elements.</p>
<p>Yolandi says, <em>&#8220;zef is, you&#8217;re poor but you&#8217;re fancy&#8221;.</em> They perform their lyrics in Afrikaans and English.</p>
<h2>Not The First Sexual Allegation For Die Antwoord</h2>
<p>Many<em> Die Antwoord</em> fans might have been shocked by the sexual allegations of Tokkie Jones. But those are not the first against the music duo.</p>
<p>In fact, in March 2019, <strong>Australian musician Zheani Sparkes</strong> released a <strong>diss track</strong>, titled <em>The Question</em>. In it, he accused Jones of <strong>sexually assaulting her</strong> in South Africa in 2013. He drugged her and trafficked her to Africa, and send explicit photos of her to cast members of <em>Chappie.</em></p>
<p>She also said Jones was interested in her because of her resemblance to his daughter<a href="https://gazetteday.com/sixteen-jones/"><strong> Sixteen Jones</strong></a>, who was 8 at the time. Text messages in the music video for the track show Jones allegedly attempting to engage in<strong> incest fantasies with Zheani Sparkes.</strong></p>
<p>American singer <strong>Dionna Dal Monte</strong> has also accused Ninja Jones of<strong> sexual assault,</strong> saying it happened at a<em> Die Antwoord show</em> in <strong>Padova</strong> in 2014.</p>
<h2>Standing Up For People</h2>
<p>Tokkie and his brother are now attempting to make a better life for their sister. They started by cleaning up the home their mother left Meisie.</p>
<p>Tokkie also often posts on social media about the cleaning. He receives <strong>encouragement</strong> from people, as well as <strong>donations.</strong></p>
<p>Speaking about his future, he says he wants to be a model and a successful actor.</p>
